Jacob Pekar Ph.D
Jacob started Texas AgriScience LLC in 2018, while finishing his Ph.D. Jacob received his Ph.D in plant breeding from Texas A&M University in 2020, his focus was breeding maize lines resistant to aflatoxin accumulation. During his time at Texas A&M University, Jacob worked and trained in the plant breeding lab under Dr. Seth Murray. Jacob’s prior education consists of a masters in Weed Science from Texas A&M Kingsville and a bachelors of Science in Agronomy from Texas Tech University.
Audrey Pekar
Audrey runs all financials of Texas AgriScience LLC but you will also find her doing a little of everything on the farm.
Martin Barroso
Martin is a research technician with over 30 years experience, specializing in cotton. He has worked with most researchers in the state of Texas and is fantastic at what he does. We were lucky to have Martin join the Texas AgriScience team in January 2019.
